Who Am I?

Welcome seasoned vagabonds, new adventuresses, windswept yogis, and would be globetrotters! 

My name is KD. I am a budget traveler on a quest to travel to at least fifty different countries with my travel partner, Ellie. I plan on doing this while maintaining my nine to five. Why? Because I crave and thrive on stability. Plus, as much as I love travel, I’d like to save. Hence why I’m a budget traveler.

My partner, Ellie, became a world traveler long before we met. Eager to help me achieve my dream of traveling internationally, she insisted that I book a flight to Costa Rica. Although hesitant and nervous, I booked a flight and we spent a week in Costa Rica. Ever since then I’ve had an incurable case of wanderlust.

As an introvert, I love that travel takes me outside of my comfort-zone. I can think of no greater way to challenge myself or learn about the world than to explore it. Sometimes leaving what’s safe is terrifying, but the gratification that I get from being somewhere new is irreplaceable.

Through She Wanderlusts, I hope to inspire travel and showcase the world as I’ve seen it. To do so, I will chronicle the details of travel–the good, the bad, and everything in between.
